L&C is the UK's biggest mortgage broker. But they had an image problem.
They barely had one.
Even their happiest customers struggled to remember who the helpful people who'd sorted their mortgage were.
They needed a face for the brand - someone who'd epitomise their new positioning we'd created as the UK's favourite mortgage partner in a totally unforgettable way.
And so Lucy was born - a pink ‘spokespuppet’ who pops up whenever customers need help with their mortgage.
From scratch, we developed a whole new brand world, and created Lucy with puppeteer Oliver Smart. Then it was time for her debut, through a suite of social films and comms that introduced Lucy to mortgage-hunters as the little helper on their shoulder.
